Its manual deadbolt action and rugged steel body deliver reliable, long-term security for schools, gyms, and commercial facilities.

• Manual horizontal deadbolt locking: Dial must be turned to relock the door, preventing accidental lock-outs and deterring unauthorized entry.
• 3-digit combination with 5 pre-set changes: Secure, easy-to-dial combination with five factory pre-set combination options for an extended, useful service life.
• Left-hand hinging, plastic dial: Specifically designed for locker doors hinged on the left as you face the door; features a standard plastic dial (metal dial variant available as Model 1671MD).
• Steel body construction: Built-in, concealed mounting with a rugged steel case to deter vandalism and withstand high-traffic environments.
• Broad locker compatibility: Fits lift handle, turn handle, single point latch, box, and open mesh/ventilated lockers requiring access to the back of the lock.
• Supervisory key control (K1630, sold separately): Standard key control cylinder enables quick combination changes and emergency supervisory access; end-user registration and control charts included for simplified facility management.
• Door thickness range: Installs on doors 0.045 in – 0.125 in thick; optional Extension Kit No. 1654-0320 accommodates doors 11/16 in (17 mm) to 3/4 in (19 mm) thick.
