The Detex ECL-230D is a code-compliant, battery-operated emergency exit control lock featuring a rugged single-point deadbolt and a high-decibel 100 dB alarm designed for secondary exit doors.
- Alarm System: Powered by an included 9V battery, it sounds a 100-decibel siren when unauthorized egress occurs. The alarm can only be reset using a control key.
- Attack Resistance: Engineered to withstand over 2,200 lbs of outside pull force, featuring a 1" throw, saw-resistant deadbolt.
- Visibility: Equipped with a durable steel backing plate and a photo-luminescent "glow-in-the-dark" sign that absorbs ambient light to remain visible during power outages.
- Design: Non-handed (field adjustable for left- or right-swinging doors) and fits standard door thicknesses from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4".
- Cylinder Compatibility: Accepts standard 5-pin through 7-pin rim cylinders (sold separately)
