Security Supply Direct (“SSD”) sells lock-picking tools and related equipment for lawful use only. By purchasing these products you agree to the terms below.

1. Intended Users

These tools are intended for professionals — locksmiths, law enforcement, military, security researchers, and property managers — and for hobbyists who practice lock-picking as a sport (“locksport”) on locks they own or have explicit, documented permission to manipulate.

2. Buyer Responsibility & Legal Compliance

Laws governing the possession and use of lock-picking tools vary by country, state, and municipality. Some jurisdictions restrict possession, require a locksmith license, or treat possession with unlawful intent as a crime. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to know and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws before purchasing, possessing, or using these tools. SSD makes no representation that these products are legal in your area.

3. Self-Certification

By completing a purchase, you certify that: (a) you are purchasing for a lawful purpose; (b) you will only use these tools on locks you own or are expressly authorized to pick; (c) you are legally permitted to possess these tools in your jurisdiction; and (d) you accept full responsibility for their use.

4. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase lock-picking tools from SSD.

5. Prohibited Use

These tools may not be used to enter any property, vehicle, container, or lock without the owner’s permission, or for any unlawful purpose. Misuse may constitute a criminal offense.

6. Limitation of Liability

SSD sells these products for legitimate use only and expressly disclaims all liability for any unlawful, negligent, or unauthorized use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSD is not liable for any damages, losses, or legal consequences arising from the possession or use of products purchased from us.

7. Right to Refuse or Cancel

SSD reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order at our sole discretion, including where we reasonably believe a sale may be unlawful or the tools may be misused.
